Thrifty Tip - Ice Cream Prices

1. Have you noticed how companies are packaging and pricing their ice cream lately? I knew the packages were getting smaller for bacon and such, but never noticed the ice cream.

Ice cream is barely ever measured out by a half gallon any longer; rather by 1.5 to 1.75 quarts. That could be the matter of a few more servings. Even though it may appear to be the same, their new pretty packaging has cheated us. So, if there are two ice cream brands selling for $2.50, be certain to check the quantity on the package.
