Thrifty Thursday - Preoccupation with Possession

"It is preoccupation with possession, more than anything else,
that prevents men from living freely and nobly." ~Bertrand Russell

Realize that keeping items is wasteful. If you keep stuff you don’t need, it costs you money. You will have to pay for the space to store it (lots of possessions means bigger homes or storage containers), and you pay to maintain it, because it costs you time (and therefore money) to keep it. You have to fix things when they break, and you also have to sort through things to find the items you want. Getting rid of this unnecessary stuff allows you to live freely.
