This is one of those occasions where you get food storage assistance from the LDS folks. This YouTube blogger demonstrates how to use a #10 can canning device. It is specifically for dry goods, making it more convenient to store. I just learned about this particular way to store, so I've never gone to one of their canneries or used the canner. If you think you'd be interested in trying this method, this is a list of canneries I found by state. You'll see that not all areas have them.
Another option would be a food storage bag sealer. We'll do that tomorrow.
