Vermicomposting: The Worm Tower

Vermiculture is a composting method using earthworms to speed up the process. It is used by many in interested in Permaculture. It's 5" pvc that is about 18" long (or longer), with 1/2" holes. The worms most often used, Eisenia foetida (Red Wigglers), are about 4 inches long, mainly red along the body with a yellow tail.

Sounds like an awesome idea!

Note that I have revised the article on Permaculture, which was the last post on the blog.
